Raise the Next Generation of Conservation Leaders

We run programs that empower local African communities, protect wildlife, and spark curiosity in the next generation.

About The Shuri Foundation

We are a registered non-profit organization on a mission to connect rural communities with the wild spaces around them through game drives, conservation education, skills training, and local ownership.

Making Conservation About Bridges, Not Fences

We believe it takes a village to protect something as vast and beautiful as the bush. And that village must include the people who’ve lived beside it for generations.

Meet Simba - Our First Project

We’re raising funds to buy a secondhand game viewer that takes kids in rural communities on free game drives to help them fall in love with the bush.

Why Simba

Before making history on Mount Everest, Sibusiso Vilane was a guide who dreamed of owning a game viewer, not for himself, but to take kids into the wild and teach them why it matters. That dream shaped his son, now it’s shaping a movement.

Help Us Bring Simba Home

Together, we can teach the next generation what’s worth protecting by giving them access to and ownership of our wild spaces, one game drive at a time.
